Opening Thursday June 8, Cornelis Schut, Pittore Fiammingo is the first ever exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the Antwerp baroque painter, draughtsman and printmaker Cornelis Schut (Antwerp 1597 - 1655). With a carefully curated selection of over 40 paintings, drawings and prints, including loans from the Rubenshuis and various private collections, and accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue, this chance to (re)discover one of Rubens' most talented and original contemporaries is not to be missed.
